Rumor's Salon, a high-end hair salon located in Scottsdale, AZ, had been serving the community for 20 years. They came to Rethinc Advertising requesting an overall clean-up of their brand and dated website to target their high-end clientele and improve the appointment making process.

As the sole designer and developer, I researched and analyzed the systems utilized by other salon websites. Since Rumors Salon's main target audience were the loyal, long-term regulars, my research was focused on salons catering to an older demographic. It was important that navigating the services and stylists providing each service was easy and accessible.

The website is designed with the goal to provide users specific stylist information, pricing, and services, as well as a simplified process for booking an appointment.

The Meet Our Stylists page features headshots of each stylist, with the ability to filter them based on each individual s specialties. 

Users can click on a headshot, where they are lead to the individual's page which includes a short bio, their specialized skills, pricing, their weekly schedule, and reviews from clients. 

Users are then lead to choose to book with them or continue browsing through other stylists.

Brand consistency was maintained across all platforms through the design of templates, social posts, and paid ads. These ads were designed to promote sales in their retail store, promote their services, and inform clients. These posts utilized typographic motion and an animated logo to engage users.
